Air quality monitoring is currently taking place for the federal Impact Assessment (IA) and provincial Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Community Access Road.

An air monitoring device was deployed in the MFFN community in February 2021 and will operate until spring 2022 collecting baseline air quality data hourly. This program is being supported by MFFN community member Field Support Staff who have been trained and maintain the device regularly.
