Construction / Implementation

To support the information sharing requirements of the conditions of the federal Decision Statement for the Project, the MFCAR Project Team has drafted and made available various plans linked below. We invite Indigenous communities to provide feedback on the Draft Accidents and Malfunctions Response Plan and Draft Indigenous Communities Communication Plan. We request that comments on these plans be submitted by November 20, 2026 to info@martenfallsaccessroad.ca and qsaddique@suslop.com. Also available below are the Draft Schedule outlining all planned and required activities to carry out the Project, and the Draft Chance Find Protocol.

Please note: A schedule outlining the activities planned to fulfill each condition of the Decision Statement is forthcoming and will be posted on this website. Given the scope and duration of the Project, the schedule will be reviewed, refined, and updated as the Project progresses to reflect evolving activities, timelines, and implementation requirements.

In addition, several engagement and participation opportunities – such as participating in a Community Well-Being, Safety, and Monitoring Working Group and the Indigenous Environmental Monitors Program – will be made available to Indigenous community members over the course of the Project. Indigenous Engagement and Participation Plans are currently being developed, and the MFCAR Project Team will follow up with details over the coming months
