- The source of the aggregate required to build and maintain the road
Socio-Economic
- Hope to maximize economic development opportunities for local employment and social opportunities
- Assess the increased hunting and fishing pressure as a result of the road
- Concerns expressed by some remote tourism outfitters that road will increase access and impact their operations
Environmental Effects
- Cumulative or long-term effects
- Effects to wildlife
- Effects to caribou migration
- Effects to peatlands
- Effects on streams, rivers and lakes

Field Studies
- Consideration of water courses and wildlife
