03. Why is the Community Access Road Needed?

The image shows the details of the EA / IA process starting in 2021 where the Community Access Road was defined to the submission of the combined provincial EA report and the federal Impact Statement. We are currently at the Route selection milestone phase of the project. The steps to road construction are outlined and include feasibility and assessment, preliminary design, detailed design / pre-construction / surveys and permitting and road construction.
